2014年國際足協世界盃
2014年國際足協世界盃（英語：2014 FIFA World Cup Brasil，葡萄牙語：Copa do Mundo de Futebol FIFA Brasil 2014）是第二十届國際足聯世界盃，於2014年6月12日至7月13日在巴西舉行。巴西是在2007年獲得本屆賽事的舉辦權，這是巴西繼1950年後第二次舉辦世界盃比賽，這也是南美洲第五次舉辦世界盃足球賽。

共有32支國家隊通過資格賽進入決賽週。波斯尼亚和黑塞哥维那是首次登場。在12個足球場舉行共64場比賽[2]。德國國家足球隊在決賽加時赛由格策113分钟绝杀擊敗阿根廷隊，奪得冠軍，也是第四次奪得冠軍，成為了世界盃史上繼巴西，意大利後第3支4次冠軍球隊，也成為歷史上首支在南美洲國家舉辦的世足賽裡奪冠的歐洲球隊。
本届赛事是首届使用门线技术、隱形噴劑的世界盃。

國際足協主席塞普·布拉特宣布巴西为2014年世界杯足球赛主办国
2003年3月7日，国际足联宣布2014年世界杯将自1978年以来首次回到南美洲举办，以符合其当时「由各大洲联合会轮流举办世界杯」的政策[3][4]。為繼1930年、1950年、1962年和1978年於烏拉圭、巴西、智利和阿根廷以來，第五次在南美洲舉辦世界盃。该决定意味着将首次在欧洲以外地区连续举办两届世界杯。而早在2003年1月，南美洲足球联合会就表示，阿根廷、巴西和哥伦比亚三国有意愿申办2014年世界杯[5]。但到3月18日，南美足联一致表决通过巴西作为2014年世界杯唯一候选申办国的决议[6]。
尽管如此，哥伦比亚后来仍未放弃[7]，并于2006年12月19日正式宣布参与竞争[8]；巴西则在2006年12月13日，即早于哥伦比亚一周正式宣布[9]。然而，哥伦比亚于2007年4月11日撤回决定，且并未给出任何原因，留下巴西成为唯一候选国[10]。
2007年10月30日，国际足联正式确认巴西将承办2014年世界杯足球赛[11]。这是巴西继1950年后再次承办男子足球世界杯。
